How Does DNS Resolution Work?
DNS resolution is the process of converting a human-readable hostname (like google.com) into a machine-readable IP address. When you type a URL in your browser, your computer queries a DNS server to find the corresponding IP. Our tool performs this lookup and also retrieves any IPv6 (AAAA) records, showing you all IP addresses a hostname resolves to. This is useful for verifying DNS configuration, checking hosting setup, and network troubleshooting.
